These courses are developed by the Erasmus Optical Imaging Centre (OIC) for first time users to get an overview of different techniques used on the (confocal) microscopes and to get a basic practical training.
This training course consists of two parts of 3 hours each. In the first part of the introduction the basic principles of the confocal microscope are explained and you will get a first impression of the confocal software. The second part of the training is a one-on-one training session in which we will optimize the microscope settings for your samples. For this part you need to bring your own samples. After this second session independent use of the confocal is permitted.
