The Erasmus Optical Imaging Centre (OIC) facilitates around twenty state-of-the art fluorescence microscope systems, including 1) fully equipped inverted confocal microscopes for functional (live cell) imaging (time lapse, FRAP, FRET, FCS), 2) upright confocal microscopes for imaging fixed samples and slide scanning, and 3) all important modes of superresolution microscopy STED, SIM, SMLM, Rescan, Lightning, deconvolution, TIRF and 4Pi.
