Super Resolution

The advances in optical super-resolution developments have resulted in a nobelprice in 2014. Starting with 4Pi microscopy in 2005 the OIC has followed the developments during the years resulting in the state of the art techniques of this moment, Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM), single molecule localization (PALM/STORM), light-sheet microscopy, rescan microscopy and STED microscopy.
